Private 1 on 1 Classes for Estheticians
Hello! Welcome to my newest adventure! I, Michaela, have been mentoring and training freshly graduated estheticians for 5 years. Teaching esthetics is something I have always loved to do! I have recently decided to offer a variety of courses that are designed to help new estheticians excel in whatever area of esthetics they are passionate about. I have been practicing esthetics since January of 2014. I am proficient in body waxing (my most popular service is Brazilian waxing), lash services, brow services, facials, peels, body treatments and massage therapy.
Something I often observe with new esthetic graduates is that they feel lost or overwhelmed and that they aren't confident in their esthetic skills after graduation. I want to be there to help you gain the confidence you need to become a successful esthetician! Think of me as your private esthetician tutor! All classes are 1 on 1. You will have my undivided attention and we can truly customize each class to your needs and strengthen your skills as an esthetician!

Waxing Classes:
Waxing 101:
6 hours $750
Does waxing intimidate you? If so, this is the class for you. In this class we will go over the most common areas clients want waxed. We will work together to help you feel more confident waxing any area of the body with different types of wax!
Course Breakdown:
Go over the pros and cons of hard and soft wax
Practice waxing on:
- Legs
- Underarms
- Bikini line
- Eyebrows and Upper Lip
Learn to master wax application, speed waxing, and keeping skin safe while waxing!
Face Waxing:
4 hours $450
Waxing someone's face can feel stressful. We all know someone with a waxing horror story. Whether they had an eyebrow ripped off on accident or the wax was too hot and a thin layer of skin was removed. These are common mistakes that can easily be avoided after taking an in-depth class on face waxing! Take this class if you want to master eyebrow waxing, lip waxing and chin waxing. Your future clients will be so happy you took the time to perfect the art of face waxing!

Practice Lip, Chin and Sideburn waxing (with assistance)
Discuss challenges of waxing clients with PCOS
Brazilian Waxing:
6 hours $800
Brazilian waxing is often the most popular waxing service in the esthetics industry, and yet it's not usually taught in esthetics school. In this class we will go over how to perform a safe Brazilian wax using soft wax and hard wax.
If you are not proficient in basic waxing (legs, underarms, face) I highly recommend taking the Waxing 101 course before this course.

Perform Brazilian wax on model (with my assistance)
Perform 2 more Brazilian waxes on models (with less assistance if possible)
Discuss different ways to position clients based on body type
Learn tips and tricks to keep clients comfortable during Brazilian waxing

Bliss Signature Facial Technique:
6 hours $800
Let's face it, booking facial clients is hard. As an esthetician we know the value of monthly facials and how important it is to invest in our skin! However, getting a client to understand the importance of regular facials can be quite a challenge. In this class we will elevate your facial game to the next level. We will work together to enhance your facial skills so your clients are always rebooking their facials with you!
This course is perfect for:
New graduates that haven't received a lot of professional facials.
Solo estheticians that are struggling to keep facial clients returning monthly.
Course breakdown:
Perform facial on Michaela to receive feedback on strengths and weaknesses (This can be done at solo estheticians own treatment room so I can give even better feedback on why clients may not be rebooking with you. Additional $25 fee for every 30 minutes of commute to your treatment room location. No charge if local to Lewiston or Auburn)
Receive a Signature Bliss Facial
Perform 2 Signature Bliss Facials
Practice face massage, shoulder massage, neck massage, scalp massage
Practice with Gua Sha Stones and Jade rollers
Practice the importance of skin analysis and extractions
Discuss ways to elevate your spa experience for clients
Discuss aftercare, retail and rebooking strategies
